Happy Mother's Day!

I know that everyone thinks that they have the best mom on earth. Thats the beauty of Mother's Day! Being the best at something is not an easy task, but my Mom pulls it off everyday! She is the most amazing person I know. I could never tell all the reasons why she is so great, but I just wanted to list a few things that I want her to know that I appreciate.

My Mom never complains. Ok, so her life is pretty much great, having me fro a daughter and all, but there are times when I know that she is at wits end and she always keeps her cool!

She is very patient. There are times when I think that if I was in her situation, I'd freak out, but she never gets impatient with me or any of us. I know I test her patience everyday!

She is always giving her time to others. I've never known someone with so much on their plate as my Mom. She has about 10 callings in the ward, and goes to ALL of her meetings, even when she is not feeling well. She is always thinking of ways to make other people happy. I think that's where her happiness comes from. Most poeple who know my Mom knows she's just an all over happy person. My friends used to ask me if she ever yelled at me. The answer was and still is no. She never raises her voice. She has an amazing sense of quiet dignity.

She always knows just what to say to make everything ok. She knows each of her kids so well, that I know that she can just sense it when something is wrong. So many times I'll be having a bad day and I will get a phone call from her and it all seems to be better right after talking to her. Everyhing is so simple to her because she knows whats best for us.

She keeps us all on track! I am so greatful for her example, especially in the gospel. She is a rock and is a great strength to me when it comes to the church. I can feel Gods love for her just being around her! I love her more than I can even say. I'm so greatful for everything she does for Kellen and Olivia and me! Happy Mothers day Mommy!
