My Happy Place...

This is my happy place. When she smiles like this I feel like she knows that my heart needs a lift! I don't usually talk about my job, but that's because there is nothing to say! I work for Wells Fargo Bank as a banker, and nothing has changed at my job for about 3 years. Totally uneventful until yesterday. I got a call from my boss and he told me to call him as soon as possible. So I did and he told me that I was getting transferred to the Magna branch. What?! That's right, thanks for all you do and by the way, you're outta here! I would have been fine with it if he would have given me a little notice, or actually asked me what I thought first, but as of tomorrow, I belong to a new manager, new branch, and a whole new meaning of the word Ghetto! No offence to those Magna dwellers. I'm sure it's a lovely place to live, but just so far away from home! There are a few good things though. I will be working with a manager that I already know, and it is REALLY bank hours over there. This will be my first 9-5 job, and hopefully my last coming up soon here! I am done complaining now and I welcome the change. Sorry for being a downer. I know it will be fine. Change=good.
It was fun to have all the girls at home again. My grandpa and Kates friend Jasen came over on Sunday and we made delicious food. It was such a great weekend. I always feel so happy and comforted when I am with family and friends. I really am so lucky to always be surrounded by such beautiful people.
Kellen was helping Liv mow the Lawn. He's such a good little helper!

Sara invited us to come and play at the Discovery Gateway on Monday. Liv had so much fun playing with Lucas, and that place is so cool. I think she was most impressed with the balls at the very beginning. Thanks for taking us there Sara and thanks for understanding I was having an emotional breakdown because of my job!

Sometimes I think Liv was meant to be a boy. She loves to play with KC's old Gi Joes and cars and tanks and such. Another example was today when we went to Logan to see my Grandma. We were outside (in between the downpours of rain) planting flowers and we came across a few worms. Luckily I had gloves on, but Liv didn't really care. She thought they were the coolest things! She would pick them up and look at them really close and laugh at them. Funny worms eh Liv? Gross. I loved that she wasn't afraid of them though! I think as parents sometimes we have to pretend that we are not afraid of certain things so that our children won't be afraid either. Like Peas for example. Kellen hates them. Liv loves them. Why? Because he is a good faker! When we got to my Grandmas today, I got Liv out of the car and a mosquito landed on her forehead. A few different scenarios ran quickly through my head. Smack it and freak her out, just let it bite and see what happens, or calmly flick it off. Those of you who know me know what happened. I freaked. She freaked. My mom came over and freaked out because we were freaking out! Will Liv be scarred for life? Who knows. I really hope not though. I don't want to be responsible for fear in my child's life!
