Icing on my cake...

So this is what happened to me this week! Nice job,eh? As if we don't have enough stress in our lives, I had to go and trash the car! Ok, so it wasn't my fault. But it still blows! This all started on Friday night when I was at a relief society retreat up Heber canyon. A lady gave a great talk about our gifts and talents, and we were supposed to write some goals down on a yardstick, so as not to be comparing ourselves to others, but to our own selves. I realized that I was slacking in a lot of areas, and I wrote down a few things that I would like to do better. These things included being nicer to Kellen, cleaning more often, and going back to the gym. I hadn't been to the gym for about two weeks. No excuse, other than it has been so nice, I've been doing more running than going to the gym. Anyhow, I got up and went on Saturday morning. It felt so good. I was on one of those "workout highs", until I left the gym. I was pulling out onto 4100 west and a lady pulling out of the Wallgreens across the street came out and hit me. My car got sent into oncoming traffic, but luckily they weren't going very fast and didn't hit my front side too! Everyone was ok, I was just sad about my car! Ha Ha! We are pretty sure it is going to be totaled because the axle and frame are both pretty bent. I may have to stick with running for the next little while! All I can say is thank heavens for insurance!
