Since the weather is getting a little bit toasty here again, we have to do whatever we can to stay cool. Luckily we have many options of pools and splash parks. We usually go to the pool in our complex here, but today we ventured out to the mall where there is a splash/slippery pad. I say slippery because we saw about 10 kids slip and fall! It was pretty sad to watch, but I think the kiddos still had a good time!
Speaking of having a good time, I was going through my pictures from today and I found this gem! (above) I really didn't mean to get a picture of these two naughty little girls, but I'm not looking forward to the talk I may have to have with Liv someday about why this is prohibited!

And finally, this is me after my morning run. Gross eh? Yes, I'm soaking wet. Sometimes I think I might have a sweating problem. I sweat so much here, it reminds me of my mission. Wet. I sweat putting Liv in the car. I sweat walking to the pool. I think I heard once that sweating is healthy though. I must be one healthy girl! Anyhow, we are having a fun summer so far, and despite the heat, we find ways of keeping ourselves cool, even if its just inside our little house, playing hide and seek, or watching Dora!

That looks like fun! You are such a cute mommy...I remember taking you and Katie to Murray park to swim with Forsyths about every day to keep cool. Great memories!

Ahhh...swimming with the Forsyths...those were the days! You are looking hot! I don't mean sweaty hot either. I'm a "sweater" too...so no worries. I sweat just getting dressed. Coming home to visit any time soon?
