HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIVVY POO!

I just wanted to tell my little love Happy Birthday! I can't believe my baby is 2 years old today! The feeling of her not being a baby anymore freaks me out a little! It so so weird to me that sometimes it feels like just yesterday that we brought her home from the hospital, but then other times it feels like I have had her forever. I can't really remember what it was like to not have her around. She is the greatest joy and blessing to our little family. I am so thankful that I was chosen to be her mother! I feel so blessed and overwhelmed sometimes at the great responsibility that it is to get to teach her little spirit the lessons of life. Usually I feel totally inadequate, and under qualified for the job of being a mother! I see other women my age with their kids and I think, 'man, I wish I could be more like her', or 'why didn't I think of doing that with Liv?' I just hope that I am able to be a good enough example to her, and to teach her to make good decisions in life.

Time goes by so fast, and she is getting so smart and big! I am really enjoying being home with her. I feel like I could just snuggle with her all day long and that would be a productive day for me! I just love being in her presence. I feel like I learn something new from her every day (and it should be the other way around!) Children are so humble and forgiving and want to be loved so badly. I never wonder why in the teachings of Jesus, He repeats time and time again that He wants us to be more like little children. I love Olivia so much and hope she had a happy day!

I will be posting some pictures soon. We started the day out by going to the Zoo. Thanks so much Britany for getting us a season pass! We had so much fun and can't wait to go again! We just hung out the rest of the day and went over to Cousin Maya's house for dinner. Liv just can't get enough of her cousins, she loves them so much! Thanks for being with us on Liv's special day! Can't wait for the Nemo party on Wednesday!
