New Toes!

So I thought since its been so long I'd just say a few things and post some pictures later. It was my birthday last week and I had such a great day! It started out with a delicious breakfast, compliments of Crackers and my good friend Niki Jepson. Bev and Britany took me there and is was so yummy, and Niki was so sweet to pick up the check! Thanks again! So then Bev and I went shopping for a little while at Target (my home away from home!) and that night we went and got pedicures.
Now if any of you know my horrific toe story, you know that I have had super ugly big toes for the past 5 years. I had them both removed (Kellen would say it was a hack job) when I got home from Ecuador and they never really grew back the same. I have had many pedicures since then and a few of my beloved Vietnamese friends have offered to put on a fake toenail. What? A fake one? It seemed so strange to me that I never really inquired about it further, I just said no thanks! I really didn't think that my toes looked THAT bad and so I never took them up on the offer. Until now. Wow. I can't really describe how much better they look with the fakies on, so I will have to post some pictures tonight when Kellen gets home with the laptop! WOW! I have never had any sort of plastic surgery done, or anything of the sort, but I came out of that nail salon feeling like a new woman. A whole woman. Why had I waited so long? Is this what it feels like to get a tummy tuck or a boob job? (less pain, obviously) Just wondering.
So to those of you who have naturally beautiful feet, don't discriminate. Mine are fake, but they make me happy!

My birthday ended with dinner at Chilis and some beautiful flowers from Kellen. Thank you to everyone who made my day so much fun! Bev and Britany talked me into to fake toes and I'm so glad! My Mommy sent me a birthday package in the mail, and it totally made my day! She sent it in a box that was wrapped and she individually wrapped each gift inside. I felt like a little girl on Christmas morning and I loved it. Thanks Mom. I love you.
